
Born of strong borderlander blood, Teiros was raised on the edge of the Blight in Shienar. His father was a famous warrior who, realizing that he was “dying”, rode of into the Blight and never returned. Teiros saved Corwin from some trollocs in the North of Shienar, and Corwin was so impressed by his strength of will and bravery that he immediately invited Teiros to join his party. Since then Teiros has proved to have hidden resources that Corwin could not have imagined, while traveling near Far Madding Teiros and Corwin realized that he has the ability to channel the male half of the one source. Though this would frighten many people, Corwin sees it as a asset in the coming battles against the forces of the Dark One, and suspects that Teiros will probably be needed to help The Dragon Reborn win at Tarmon Gaidon. Teiros just thinks that everything makes a little bit more sense now, because he was healing people awfully well.
Teiros has gained a grasp his abilities to channel; he spends much of his time practicing tricks like lighting a candle on fire with his mind while Caile tries to blow it out. He has recently been pursued by White Cloaks that believe that he may be able to touch the One Source, though they don’t by any means have proof and he seems to have this uncanny ability to slip through their clutches.
Update: After saving King Easar's brother at an attack on Tarwin's Gap, Tieros Makoto was raised to the position of Borderguard and Shienar and charged with protecting both the Horn of Valere and its sounder, Cailean Voere. He has taken his charge quite seriously and is considering figuring out how to bond Caile since he got seperated with him during their adventure into the Doorway of Need. He hopes to use his former bond with the Aes Sedai, Desdora of the Yellow Ajah as a starting point for study on the art of Conjunction.
